Aamir Khan has dismissed long-standing rumours that he secretly directs many of the films he stars in, saying he has officially directed only one movie in his 38-year career — Taare Zameen Par. Speaking at a Screen Academy Masterclass, the actor credited directors, writers and technicians for the success of his films and said each project carries the unique vision of its filmmaker. Aamir also shared his thoughts on method acting, joking that it sometimes gives actors “a lot of freedom to misbehave” by claiming to stay in character.
