IndiGo flight from Kolkata lands safely in Chennai after left engine issue; full emergency withdrawn

Chennai Airport declared a full emergency for IndiGo flight 6E-723 from Kolkata after the aircraft developed a left engine inoperative condition. The aircraft landed safely on Runway 25 at 11:37 PM with 224 people onboard. Emergency arrangements were activated before landing and withdrawn at 11:47 PM. Airport operations remained normal, authorities said.
