The S&P 500 posted a 3.6% gain last week, wrapping up its best weekly performance since April and closing at a record high of 7,757.64. The rally was driven by falling oil prices, and optimism surrounding corporate earnings and geopolitical developments. Of course whether any of the geopolitcal possibilities come to fruition is anyone's guess.
