Naga village guard killed, 2 CoBRA jawans injured in clash during Manipur operation

A Naga village guard died and another was hurt during a clash with CRPF CoBRA forces. Two CoBRA jawans also sustained injuries in the incident which occurred in Bitiang Village. Security forces conducted a raid on an illegal Naga Volunteer Group training camp in Noney district. Heavy firing erupted after armed village volunteers opened fire on the approaching security forces.
