Reliance Industries has proposed investing about ₹2.73 lakh crore over 30 years to develop Indias first integrated Underground Coal Gasification complex in Andhra Pradeshs Eluru district. The project, subject to commercial viability after exploration, will use deep coal reserves in the Chintalapudi and Recherla blocks to produce syngas.
