President Donald Trump has named Will Scharf as the next White House counsel, replacing David Warrington from September 1. Scharf, a former federal prosecutor and Trump lawyer, helped secure approval for the administrations controversial $400 million White House ballroom project and will take charge of legal matters ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.
