Asian Infrastructure Expansion Matrix (AIEM)
Family: breakout · Regime: trending · Complexity: high · Asset classes: Forex (Majors) · Timeframes: M15, H1
Thesis
Market expansion typically originates from a low-volatility 'base' (Asian session). If price breaks this base with momentum (CCI) while reacting to a historically validated zone (SML), the probability of a sustained trend expansion increases. Risk is managed not by pips, but by the 'infrastructure' (PiPi) of the move itself.
Components
- Forex Asia Range Box Lite (regime) — Defines the liquidity boundaries; trades are only valid if price has escaped this range, signifying the start of the London/NY expansion.
- CCI Arrows (direction) — Provides the momentum trigger; ensures the breakout is supported by a shift in commodity channel momentum across the zero-line.
- SML — SUPPORT/RESISTANCE MATRIX (entry) — Acts as the filter; entry only occurs when momentum aligns with a price rejection or validation of a high-confidence SML zone.
- MACD (exit) — Captures the exhaustion of the expansion move via signal line crosses or histogram reversals.
- PiPi (Price Infrastructure & Position Interface) (risk) — Provides the structural 'Context' for stop-loss placement based on Level Middle and Fibonacci-derived ranges.
- Chart Point Qualifier Demo (confirmation) — Used to anchor the 'point of origin' for the breakout; if a valid chart.point cannot be constructed at the recent pivot, the move is considered unconfirmed noise.
Known failure conditions
- Price returns and closes inside the Asia Range Box after breakout.
- The SML zone used for entry is breached in the opposite direction before the first MACD crossover.
- Average Daily Range (ADR) is exceeded before the CCI entry signal triggers.
