Thesis

Trends do not move in straight lines but in 'steps' of consolidation. By identifying when a trend-following consolidation (Boxline) is breaking out, while simultaneously observing that counter-trend pressure is weakening (Bears Power), we can enter at high-velocity continuation points with structurally defined risk.

Components

• Exponential Moving Average (EMA) (regime) — Establish the primary trend direction to ensure trades are only taken in the direction of long-term institutional flow.
• Bears Power (direction) — Used to identify 'seller exhaustion' in uptrends; when Bears Power is negative but rising toward zero, it indicates selling pressure is failing.
• Arrows Base Template (entry) — Acts as the final execution trigger once the regime, direction, and structural breakout conditions are met.
• MA Channel (Framework Version) (exit) — Provides a volatility-adjusted exit mechanism based on the 'Trend' buffer; exits occur when the trend state flips against the position.
• Boxline (Consolidation Zones) (risk) — Identifies the localized price floor/ceiling for stop-loss placement and ensures entries happen on a structural breakout.

Known failure conditions

• EMA(200) slope becomes horizontal for extended periods (ranging market).
• Boxline 'top' and 'bottom' are within 1.5x of the average spread (insignificant volatility).
• Consecutive stops hit within a single consolidation box.
