Ichimoku-Jurik FVG Confluence
Family: hybrid · Regime: trending · Complexity: high · Asset classes: FX, Indices, Crypto · Timeframes: H1, H4
Thesis
Institutional trends are characterized by momentum persistence (EMA200/Cloud) and 'price efficiency gaps' (FVGs). By entering at these gaps when a localized pullback (RSI) occurs, but before the market reaches volatility exhaustion (Jurik Envelopes), we capture high-probability continuation moves fueled by institutional re-accumulation.
Components
- Ichimoku Kinko Hyo (regime) — Provides the macro-trend filter; price must be on the correct side of the Cloud and Kijun-sen to establish a directional bias.
- KolaTradeboT TradBOT Simple (direction) — Uses the confluence of EMA200 and VWAP to confirm institutional order flow alignment within the Ichimoku regime.
- ICT + FVG + RSI V1.2.12 (entry) — Identifies Fair Value Gaps (FVG) as specific entry triggers when the RSI shows a localized mean-reversion exhaustion within the primary trend.
- Bears Power (exit) — Used to detect the exhaustion of selling pressure (Low vs EMA) for long exits and momentum shifts for short exits.
- ATR Heiken Ashi (risk) — Uses synthetic Heiken Ashi volatility to set stop losses that are less sensitive to standard OHLC noise.
- Jurik Adaptive Envelope Bands (volatility_filter) — Filters out entries when the market is overextended relative to its adaptive volatility distribution.
Known failure conditions
- Price remains inside the Ichimoku Cloud for extended periods (regime drift).
- FVGs are frequently filled and reversed (liquidity failure).
- High correlation between the HTF RSI and the lower timeframe price action leading to late entries.
