Institutional Gamma-Trend Hybrid
Family: hybrid · Regime: trending · Complexity: high · Asset classes: Equities, Indices, FX (Major) · Timeframes: H1, H4, D1
Thesis
This strategy hypothesizes that institutional 'walls' (Gamma/Support/Resistance) act as the most reliable turning points for trend continuation. By waiting for an RSI-oversold signal to occur precisely at a Q-Level within a larger SMA 200/Sherif Hilo uptrend, we enter at the point of maximum exhaustion of the counter-trend move, allowing for high R:R trades trailed by Parabolic SAR.
Components
- Sherif Hilo (regime) — Defines the structural trend regime via HHV/LLV channels to ensure we are on the right side of the major trend.
- AI - RSI Strategy (direction) — Provides the directional bias by identifying oversold/overbought conditions within a 200-SMA filtered trend.
- Q-Levels V2.2 (entry) — Acts as the high-precision entry trigger, requiring price to touch institutional or gamma levels before execution.
- Parabolic SAR (exit) — Dynamic trailing stop that adapts to price acceleration, used to lock in profits during the trend extension.
- Roshaneforde Pivot Levels (risk) — Identifies hard price floor/ceiling based on engulfing patterns for objective stop-loss placement and risk-per-trade sizing.
Known failure conditions
- If the market enters a low-volatility 'chop' phase where Sherif Hilo and SMA 200 provide conflicting signals.
- If the text-based Q-Levels are not updated frequently, leading to entries at stale price concentrations.
- If Parabolic SAR is hit before the price moves at least 1R from entry (too tight volatility).
