Thesis

Market trends become more 'anchored' to historical means as a session or asset's data history matures. By using a Dynamic EMA that weights history more heavily over time (length = bar_index), we can filter out late-stage volatility noise. This trend direction is only valid when global macro-financial stress (liquidity/credit) is low and price structure (engulfing levels) confirms the breakout.
