McGinley-Chaikin Structural Pullback Strategy

Family: pullback · Regime: trending · Complexity: medium · Asset classes: FX, Equities, Indices · Timeframes: H1, H4

Thesis

This strategy hypothesizes that markets exhibit a 'memory' at volume-profile nodes (Low Volume Nodes) within an established trend. By using the McGinley Dynamic to filter for trends that are not yet exhausted (as verified by Daily High/Low ranges) and confirming institutional participation with Chaikin Money Flow, we can enter at 'discount' supply/demand zones with a high probability of trend resumption. The edge rests on the assumption that price will find liquidity at these zones before the McGinley-defined trend breaks.
