Thesis

Market participants often wait for a period of low volatility (squeeze) to resolve before committing capital. By entering only when volatility expands (Squeeze Advanced), the macro trend is confirmed (Ichimoku), and volume supports the move (MFI), we capture the highest velocity segment of a trend. Murrey Math levels provide a structural 'map' that accounts for the psychological importance of octaves in price action.

Components

• Ichimoku Kinko Hyo (regime) — Establishes the macro trend regime; entries are only permitted when price is on the correct side of the Kumo cloud.
• Momentum (MOM) (direction) — Ensures the immediate price velocity is aligned with the macro trend to avoid entering during exhaustive phases.
• Money Flow Index (MFI) (entry) — Identifies volume-backed exhaustion/reversals within the trend to trigger entry on pullbacks.
• HiLo Activator 02 (exit) — Acts as a trailing stop-loss mechanism that adjusts based on price action peaks and troughs.
• Murrey Math Line X (risk) — Provides discrete price levels for hard stop-loss placement and target-based position sizing.
• Rate of Change (by PK) (confirmation) — Secondary momentum confirmation to ensure the price delta is expanding in the direction of the trade.
• Bollinger Squeeze Advanced (volatility_filter) — Filters out low-volatility 'squeeze' periods to ensure the strategy only operates during high-conviction volatility expansions.

Known failure conditions

• Prolonged sideways consolidation where Murrey Math levels contract and HiLo Activator whipsaws.
• Volume-price divergence where MFI generates signals that MOM and ROC do not validate.
