NET-Tau VWAP Structural Hybrid

Thesis
This strategy hypothesizes that sustainable trends are characterized by high rank-order correlation (NET) and that institutional liquidity is often found at VWAP pullbacks near established order blocks. By using an inverted ADX signal to capture counter-momentum exhaustion and filtering for volatility extremes via the Grid Bot, we identify high-probability entries into 'clean' trend regimes. The edge lies in the intersection of efficiency, volume-weighted value, and structural support.
Components
- Ehlers Noise Elimination Technology (NET) (regime) — Acts as the primary regime filter, ensuring entries only occur when the Kendall Tau-a correlation indicates a low-noise, high-efficiency trend (NET > 0.5 for longs).
- ADX Crossing INGM (direction) — Provides the directional bias. Due to the indicator's internal logical inversion, it signals a long bias when +DI crosses BELOW -DI.
- VWAP + EMA Cross Pullback (entry) — The tactical entry trigger, identifying institutional pullbacks to the VWAP within an established EMA-defined trend.
- ATR SL Finder (exit) — Provides a volatility-adjusted trailing stop and final exit level to capture extension moves.
- GOM KOLA SIDO — Full Integration (risk) — Defines structural risk zones (Order Blocks and KOLA Levels) to validate stop-loss placement and ensure the entry occurs at a high-confluence level.
- Grid Bot [Grid range plugin] Two Moving Avarages [psyll] (volatility_filter) — Filters out high-volatility extremes by ensuring the entry occurs within a standard-deviation based 'grid' boundary, avoiding trades during parabolic blow-offs.
Known failure conditions
- Kendall Tau-a (NET) remains near zero for extended periods, indicating a high-noise environment where the correlation between price and time is lost.
- Price consistently breaches KOLA Zones without reversal, suggesting a breakdown in the SMC/Order Block structural logic.
- ADX Crossing INGM signals flip-flop rapidly in low-volatility environments due to its 1-bar look-ahead quirk.
