Thesis

Market trends are only sustainable when price breaks away from the high-volume Point of Control (POC) and is supported by an increase in capital commitment (Open Interest). By entering on Ichimoku momentum and exiting based on statistical exhaustion (Z-score) relative to a benchmark pair, the strategy captures the 'meat' of the trend while avoiding the volatility of the peak.

Volume Profile + Pivot Levels [ChartPrime] (regime) — Establishes the macro regime by identifying the Point of Control (POC); trades are only taken in the direction of the value area breakout or mean reversion to POC.
