Regression-Linearity Harmonic Exhaustion Strategy

Family: hybrid · Regime: trending · Complexity: medium · Asset classes: FX, Indices, Equities · Timeframes: H1, H4

Thesis

Harmonic patterns are geometric price structures that fail most often when the preceding move is chaotic or parabolic. By using the Standard Error of Regression to ensure the lead-in trend is 'linear' and 'orderly,' we increase the probability that the harmonic 'D' point represents a genuine exhaustion of the prevailing trend rather than a temporary pause in a volatile breakout. Following the daily institutional levels (previous day's high/low) provides a structural anchor for risk that random indicators lack.
