Wavelet-Fractal Darvas Breakout Strategy

Family: breakout · Regime: trending · Complexity: high · Asset classes: FX, Equities, Crypto · Timeframes: H1, H4

Thesis

Market price discovery occurs in discrete phases of consolidation followed by impulsive breakouts. By using Discrete Wavelet Transforms to strip high-frequency noise and Darvas Boxes to define structural boundaries, we can isolate high-probability breakouts from 'stair-stepping' trends. The edge relies on the structural persistence of momentum (RSX) and the rejection of volatility noise (DWT) during regime shifts.
