Weather-Filtered Squeeze Breakout (WFSB)

Family: trend_following · Regime: trending · Complexity: high · Asset classes: FX, Equities, Crypto · Timeframes: H1, H4, D1

Thesis

Markets transition from periods of 'quiet' consolidation to 'active' trends. By quantifying historical turbulence (Market Weather) to ensure the environment is not a permanent whipsaw, and using volatility bands to catch the moment of breakout (Squeeze), we can enter trends with high momentum (TSI) while using structural pivots (NNFX) to define risk. The edge lies in the exclusion of 'noisy' environments where standard trend-following fails.
