Thesis
Market edge exists when a price breakout occurs in the direction of a high-strength trend (normalized by ATR) and is supported by institutional volume (VWAP/Volume-SMA). By filtering for 'volatility pressure,' we avoid the 'false breakouts' typical of low-liquidity ranges, assuming that high-volume breakouts near VWAP represent a shift in fair-value consensus that persists for the duration of a momentum swing.
