Stochastic Oscillator
Category: momentum
The Stochastic Oscillator measures the position of the close relative to the high-low range over a set number of periods, identifying overbought and oversold conditions.
Formula
%K = (\sum_{i=0}^{Slowing-1} (Close_i - LowMin_i) / \sum_{i=0}^{Slowing-1} (HighMax_i - LowMin_i)) * 100\n%D = SMA(%K, DPeriod) \nwhere LowMin and HighMax are the lowest low and highest high over the KPeriod.
Inputs
- InpKPeriod (default: 5)
- InpDPeriod (default: 3)
- InpSlowing (default: 3)
