Cascaded Volatility Intensity Breakout (CVIB)

Family: hybrid · Regime: trending · Complexity: high · Asset classes: Forex, Indices, Equities · Timeframes: H1, H4, D1

Thesis

Market breakouts are most sustainable when short-term momentum (RSIOMA) aligns with significant statistical price deviation (TII). By filtering for volatility expansion (Squeeze) and using a lag-reduced trigger (MCNMA), the strategy enters at the 'inflection point' of a trend. The core edge is the rejection of 'weak' trends that lack the volatility (ATR HA) or intensity (TII) to overcome spread and slippage.
