Chaikin-Fisher Volatility Sync
Family: hybrid · Regime: trending · Complexity: high · Asset classes: FX, Equities, Crypto · Timeframes: H1, H4
Thesis
The strategy is based on the premise that sustained price movements occur only when institutional volume (CMF) aligns with a volatility 'explosion' (WAE) out of established market structure levels (OB/FVG). By using the Fisher Transform to normalize momentum cycles, we filter out noise and enter during the most efficient phase of a trend, using relative performance to allocate capital to assets with the strongest underlying momentum.
Components
- Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) (regime) — Defines the institutional accumulation/distribution regime; ensures momentum is backed by volume.
- Fisher Transform (EarnForex) (direction) — Normalizes price distribution to identify cycle turns and maintain directional bias.
- RSIOMA (RSI of Moving Average) (entry) — Acts as the trigger; uses smoothed RSI to signal momentum shifts relative to its signal line.
- HiLo Activator (Pandini Version) (exit) — Provides a trailing stop mechanism that adapts to price volatility via SMA of Highs/Lows.
- Performance Table (risk) — Used for cross-sectional relative strength filtering and volatility-adjusted position sizing.
- OrderBlock FVG Detector (confirmation) — Confirms entries only when price is interacting with institutional order blocks or fair value gaps.
- Waddah Attar Explosion (WAE) (volatility_filter) — Filters out low-volatility environments where RSIOMA and Fisher produce whipsaws.
Known failure conditions
- Price enters a tight range where HiLo Activator flips frequently without WAE crossing the explosion threshold.
- Long-term divergence where CMF stays negative while price makes higher highs (distribution).
- Frequent Fisher Transform 'flip-flops' on the current bar in low-liquidity environments.
