Thesis

Market movements occur in discrete 'steps' of volatility rather than smooth continuums. By defining a regime based on a fixed tick-range (CRC) and only entering when fractal trendlines break within a confirmed Ichimoku trend, the strategy captures the transition from consolidation to expansion. Entering on a mean-reversion (Bollinger SMA) during this expansion provides a structural edge by exploiting short-term pullbacks before the next volatility 'step' occurs.
