Drift-Synchronized Structural Breakout

Thesis
Market trends are non-random (VR > 1) and structural (BOS). By identifying a statistical drift regime first, we can exploit 'Smart Money' structural breaks (BOS/CHoCH) with higher probability. The edge exists because price momentum (TEMA) often persists after a confirmed structural breakout (TBO) as late-informed participants enter the move, while volatility filtering ensures we avoid 'low-energy' fake-outs.
Components
- Asset Drift Model (ADM) (regime) — Filters out mean-reverting regimes where BOS/CHoCH signals are prone to failure; ensures trade is aligned with statistical drift.
- BOS_CHoCH_Detector (direction) — Provides the primary structural bias by identifying shifts in price action highs/lows.
- Frankenstein Ultimate Pro - ATM Logic (entry) — Executes entry based on a zero-lag timing element (TEMA) and a volatility expansion requirement.
- Bears Power (exit) — Detects exhaustion of bearish momentum for longs and potential bullish exhaustion (via inverse) for shorts.
- Point Based Grid (risk) — Standardizes risk by placing stops at fixed psychological/structural point intervals.
- TradeBreakOut (TBO) (confirmation) — Validates the BOS/CHoCH signal by requiring price to breach the statistical bounds of the recent L-period range.
Known failure conditions
- Variance Ratio (VR) stays consistently near 1.0 (Random Walk), rendering ADM drift signals meaningless.
- Market volatility drops below the 1.2 ATR threshold for extended periods, resulting in zero entries during trending moves.
- Frequent 'fake-out' CHoCH signals in high-volatility sideways regimes where BOS levels are breached without follow-through.
