Float-Cycle Structure Adaptive Strategy

Family: pullback · Regime: trending · Complexity: high · Asset classes: Equities, Futures, FX (Major Pairs) · Timeframes: H1, H4

Thesis

Price trends are finite and governed by the turnover of the 'float' (the volume required to rotate positions from sellers to buyers). By entering pullbacks when the current swing's volume turnover is low relative to the historical float, we capture the meat of the move before exhaustion. The use of adaptive envelopes allows us to stay in the trade as long as volatility supports the momentum, while exogenous Q-Levels (Gamma/Expected Moves) provide structural safety nets that price action alone cannot predict.
