Fractal Smoother Momentum Strategy

Thesis

Market trends are fractal in nature, exhibiting periods of high efficiency where price moves rapidly between levels of value. By using the Fractal Adaptive Moving Average (FRAMA) to detect the transition from 'noise' to 'trend' and confirming this with the zero-lag USF filter, we can enter trades with high momentum (QQE) while price is clear of the rolling equilibrium (Midpoint). The hypothesis is that these multi-dimensional volatility filters will capture the 'meat' of institutional moves while exiting when synthetic volatility (ATR Heiken Ashi) signals exhaustion.
