Harmonic-Dynamic EMA Bridge Strategy

Thesis
Market trends are most tradeable when cyclical harmonics (Ehlers FSI) align with a 'macro-memory' anchor (Dynamic EMA). By using the bar_index as the EMA length, we create a regime filter that becomes increasingly selective over time, requiring stronger price momentum to maintain a trend signal. When this alignment is confirmed by a discrete market structure event (OptionX), it signals a high-probability entry into an accelerating trend phase.
Components
- Unsupported Dynamic EMA Length Test (regime) — Acts as a 'cumulative memory' regime filter. By setting length to the bar_index, the indicator transition from a fast signal to an ultra-lagging anchor, filtering for trends that survive increasing time-decay sensitivity.
- Ehlers Fourier Series Indicator (FSI) (direction) — Determines the current cyclical phase of the market. Only allows entries when the sum of the first three price harmonics aligns with the trade direction.
- Legacy Trading Connector (OptionX) (entry) — Acts as the final execution trigger, capturing discrete 'Market Structure' events (Arrows 233/234) typically generated by lower-level price action patterns.
- Ichimoku Kinko Hyo (exit) — Provides a structural exit signal. If price penetrates the Kijun-sen or the Kumo cloud, the momentum/volatility regime has shifted sufficiently to invalidate the trade.
- Parabolic SAR (risk) — Supplies a hard stop-loss and a dynamic trailing mechanism that tightens as price accelerates, protecting against cycle reversals.
Known failure conditions
- The Dynamic EMA length exceeds the platform's maximum recursion limit, resulting in static values.
- Market enters a 'random walk' phase where FSI harmonics cancel each other out near the zero line.
- OptionX connector latency exceeds the fundamental cycle period, leading to stale entries.
