Harmonic-Liquidity Confluence Scalper
Family: hybrid · Regime: mixed · Complexity: high · Asset classes: FX, Indices, Commodities · Timeframes: H1, H4, D1
Thesis
The strategy hypothesizes that market reversals are not random but occur when geometric Fibonacci exhaustion (Harmonics) aligns with pre-defined institutional liquidity pools (ICT levels). By waiting for a momentum shift (SuperTrend/Average Force) at these confluence zones, we filter for high-probability participation while using smoothed volatility (ATR HA) to manage risk against market noise.
Components
- Custom Pattern Detection (regime) — Identifies geometric price structures where mean reversion or trend continuation is statistically probable based on Fibonacci ratios.
- SNAP HTF_LTF Indicator (direction) — Filters the harmonic patterns by ensuring they occur at institutional 'Point of Interest' (POI) zones or liquidity pools.
- SuperTrend & Pivots (entry) — Acts as the execution trigger, confirming a shift in immediate trend direction following the completion of a pattern.
- ATR Stop Loss Finder (exit) — Provides a dynamic volatility-based exit that adjusts to raw price expansion/contraction.
- ATR Heiken Ashi (risk) — Uses smoothed volatility to calculate position sizing, preventing over-leveraging during noise-heavy periods.
- Average Force (confirmation) — Filters out low-momentum signals by ensuring price is accelerating in the trade direction relative to its recent range.
Known failure conditions
- SuperTrend flips direction immediately after entry (signaling a whip-saw).
- Price closes beyond the institutional liquidity zone (SNAP level) before the pattern completes.
- Average Force remains flat near zero for >10 bars post-entry.
