L'mas-Ehlers Box Breakout System

Family: trend_following · Regime: trending · Complexity: high · Asset classes: FX, Indices, Crypto · Timeframes: H1, H4, D1

Thesis

Market trends exhibit 'pulsing' behavior where periods of consolidation (measured by Boxline) are followed by expansion. This expansion is statistically valid if confirmed by price-time rank correlation (RCI) and if the cyclical momentum (DSP) is in phase with the long-term moving average regime. By requiring a breakout from a physical range while RSI and CCI filters (GFRMa) show high participation, the strategy captures the high-velocity phase of a trend while using the consolidation box as a structural floor for risk management.
