ML-SuperTrend H&S Liquidity Reversal
Family: hybrid · Regime: trending · Complexity: high · Asset classes: Equities, Forex, Crypto · Timeframes: 15m, 1h, 4h
Thesis
Market reversals are non-random events that occur when price exhaustion (H&S structure) coincides with institutional liquidity zones (Q-Levels) and a shift in price-volume efficiency (EOM). By using an LSTM-optimized SuperTrend as a regime filter, we can isolate H&S patterns that occur at the start of a new trend, while the zero-lag MCNMA ensures we exit before the subsequent mean-reversion or trend exhaustion.
Components
- ML SuperTrend (Ultimate) - Auto-Optimized AI with LSTM (regime) — Filters out noise by only allowing trades in the direction of the AI-optimized volatility trend.
- Dynamic EMA with Box Method Selector (direction) — Provides a hyper-fast micro-trend filter to ensure immediate price action alignment with the entry.
- HS Indicator (Head & Shoulders) (entry) — Identifies high-probability structural exhaustion (H&S) or reversal (Inverse H&S) patterns.
- McNicholl EMA (MCNMA) (exit) — Acts as a zero-lag trend-following exit to capture the meat of the move while exiting quickly on momentum shifts.
- Q-Levels V2.2 (risk) — Utilizes manual/parsed liquidity levels (Gamma walls/SR) for stop-loss placement and risk-adjusted sizing.
- Ease of Movement (EOM) (confirmation) — Confirms that the breakout from the H&S pattern is occurring on efficient volume-price action.
Known failure conditions
- Consistently missing breakouts due to HS Indicator lag (SwingStrength too high).
- Frequent stop-outs at Q-Levels during high-volatility news events that ignore historical liquidity.
- ML SuperTrend flickering due to LSTM overfitting on short-term noise.
