Persistent Inversion Trend Hybrid

Thesis
Market trends are most efficiently entered during brief periods of momentum exhaustion rather than at the peak of strength. By using Three-Line Break (TLB) to filter noise and the Random Walk Index (RWI) to ensure non-randomness, we establish a high-probability trending regime. The 'inverted' ADX signal identifies the temporary momentum dip required to enter the trend with superior risk-reward before the primary trend resumes.
Components
- Three-Line Break (TLB) with MA (regime) — Filters noise by requiring a significant price breakout (3 lines) to change regime and uses the EMA as a secondary trend filter.
- Random Walk Index (RWI BTF) (direction) — Confirms that the current price movement is statistically non-random (RWI > 1.0), ensuring the regime is a persistent trend rather than noise.
- ADX Crossing INGM (entry) — Uses the specific "Logical Inversion" of this indicator to trigger entries on temporary momentum dips (counter-trend crosses) within the established regime.
- ZigZag Color (Classic) (exit) — Provides a structural exit signal when the market makes a confirmed counter-swing, indicating the primary trend leg has concluded.
- FakeCandle (risk) — Used as the basis for risk calculations; stop losses are set relative to the FakeCandle range to account for NNFX-style smoothed price volatility.
Known failure conditions
- Consecutive TLB 'Line-Flips' (whipsaws) resulting in multiple stopped-out trades in a ranging market.
- RWI staying below 1.0 for extended periods, preventing any trade execution despite visible price movement.
- ZigZag failing to plot a reversal leg during a 'flash crash' or parabolic move, leading to uncontrolled exit delays.
