SNAP Synthetic Delta Momentum Trader

Thesis
Institutional liquidity resides at high-timeframe structural extremes (SNAP). Market 'Smart Money' will interact with these levels, creating a localized synthetic volume imbalance (Footmap). If this imbalance leads to a short-term momentum shift (t_ma), price is likely to trend towards the next liquidity pool, providing a high-probability entry window with structural risk (Pivots).
Components
- SNAP HTF_LTF Indicator (regime) — Establishes the macro context by identifying where institutional orders are likely parked (liquidity pools) or where structure has shifted (breakers).
- Footmap – Heat & Volume [v1] (direction) — Filters entries by ensuring the synthetic volume delta aligns with the direction of the trade, suggesting localized pressure near the POC.
- t_ma (entry) — Acts as the trigger mechanism. Despite its 11-bar limitation, it provides a highly localized momentum signal once the higher-order criteria are met.
- ATR SL Finder (exit) — Provides a volatility-adjusted trailing exit to capture trend extensions while protecting gains.
- Pivot Points Reversal Levels (risk) — Provides structural 'hard' levels for stop-loss placement based on recent two-candle reversal patterns.
Known failure conditions
- Price ignores SNAP HTF levels entirely (low volatility/choppy range).
- Extreme slippage in low-liquidity environments makes the synthetic delta calculation irrelevant.
- Failure of the t_ma to print signals due to the hardcoded 11-bar window during high-frequency volatility clusters.
